Pastor Russ Long assumed the position as our Senior Pastor in May of 1995. He is a graduate of Eastern Nazarene College, Nazarene Theological Seminary and Boston University. His wife, Debb, is also a graduate of Eastern Nazarene College. Pastor Long came to us after serving the previous eleven years as pastor in Plattsburgh, New York. Russ & Debb have three married daughters: Heather, Andrea & Kristen.

Pastor Noah Tharp joined our staff in October of 1999. Noah is a graduate of Eastern Nazarene College and Nazarene Theological Seminary. His wife, Linda, also graduated from Eastern Nazarene College. Pastor Tharp has pastored in New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Noah & Linda have three grown daughters: Kim, Amber & Amanda.

Pastor Gregg Alsbrooks joined our staff in February of 2006. Gregg is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University. He met Dodi, who is now his wife, at Trevecca; she is also a graduate of Trevecca with a major in Elementary Education. Gregg and Dodi have three children: Alycia, Grant & Haven. Before coming to Bel Air, Gregg pastored in Jacksonville, FL and Raleigh, NC.

Kathy Peter joined the staff in October of 2008. She is a graduate of Toccoa Falls College, Toccoa, GA and Alliance Theological Seminary, Nyack, NY. Her husband, Mike is a graduate of Towson University.  Mike and Kathy have two children: Kate and Mikey.

Deb Sword began working in the Church Office in May 1999 and is now the Administrative Assistant. She is a graduate of Liberty University. Deb and her husband, Terry moved to the area due to a job transfer for Terry in December 1998 from Hagerstown, MD. Terry & Deb have 2 children; Brandon and Brooke. Brandon lives in Havre de Grace with his wife, Meg. Brooke recently graduated from Eastern Nazarene College and is currently living in Quincy.

Julie Kelly accepted the Director position for Hickory Child Development Center in August 2005.  Julie is a Harford County native and graduated from Harford Community College with an Associates degree in Nursing. She continued her studies at Salisbury University earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Over the years she has worked with children in a variety of settings including hospitals, churches, schools and within the community. Most recently her education and experience encompass the daycare realm. Julie has four grown children.
