We have been on this “COVID” journey together for over a year now, and it is encouraging to see the positive directions we have been taking with the virus since we had a surge of cases at the beginning of the calendar year.
Recently, the state announced that all emergency restrictions related to the pandemic are no longer in effect, beginning July 1st.
Before this most recent announcement, we already made adjustments at the church, not requiring masks outdoors or indoors, except for specific teen and children’s groups and activities. We are no longer social spacing our chairs for indoor services. Along with this, we have encouraged everyone to follow the recommendations that are out there for those who are not vaccinated.
In light of this recent announcement from the state, beginning Sunday, June 27th, masks will be optional and not required for any church events for any age.
Please be respectful of those who choose to wear masks. Let’s be understanding of those who have reason to still wear one.
Also, please be aware that different guidelines may exist for our daycare, since they must follow what the state tells them they should be doing. Any updates in guidelines for the daycare will be communicated directly to the parents and the daycare staff.
Let’s celebrate the increased opportunities we have to be together in community. Along with our church services, we have a wide variety of activities planned this summer so we can connect with each other. You can learn more about them by going to http://www.belairnazarene.org/bulletin.html. I hope you will take advantage of these, as we need each other as we live our lives so that we “Love Jesus, Love Like Jesus”!
Grace & Peace, Pastor Gregg
P.S. We do ask that you continue to register kids for Sunday morning Sunday school, as this helps us ensure we have adequate staffing available. You can do so by clicking below.
