Hickory Child Development Center (HCDC) is a Non-Profit Ministry offered by the Bel Air Church of the Nazarene.  Its purpose is to provide a loving environment where children can develop socially, emotionally and intellectually.  Our goal is also to provide your child the opportunity to reach his/her optimum growth and development and to provide a smooth transition from Preschool into the Kindergarten environment.  HCDC offers Preschool Classes for 3, 4 & 5 Year-Olds, a Kindergarten Program and a Daycare Program for Infants through Fifth Grade.  Hickory Child Development Center (HCDC) admits students of any Sex, Race, Color, National or Ethnic Origin or Religious Belief.

CURRICULUM
We have developed a balanced curriculum that will stimulate learning in a safe and secure environment.  In addition to a program that supports you as a parent in your guidance and nurturing, the children will encounter Music, Arts & Crafts, Reading, Science, Math and Language Arts.  The classes are staffed with a Certified Teacher and a Teaching Assistant.  A typical day will include:

LICENSING
The Hickory Child Development Center is licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education • Child Care Administration.  It is the responsibility of the School Administration to reapply for Licensing each year and to ensure the school complies with State Regulations.

•  Daycare Children 15mths thru 5 yr-olds take part in a year-round preschool program.
•  Daycare Payments are due the 1st day of the week that daycare is contracted for.
•  A $75 non-refundable Registration Fee is charged for each child.
•  A $75 non-refundable Supply Fee for each child is due June 1st.
