Wednesday Night Caravan
“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men”
- (Luke 2:52)
The Caravan ministry exists to help elementary-age children become more like Jesus by encouraging their growth in the four specific areas mentioned in Luke 2:52: mental (wisdom), physical (stature), spiritual (favor with God), and social (favor with men). It also helps children develop an appreciation for and understanding of Nazarene heritage and beliefs.
Caravan is a scouting, or kids’ club, type of program that meets once a week on Wednesday night from 7 – 8 p.m. Children earn badges to place on their scarf or sash depending on their age group.
Age Groups
Children are assigned to one of the four major groups according to their grade in school.
- Benson’s Buddies (4 yr. olds and Kindergarten)
- Searchers (first and second graders)
- Explorers (third and fourth graders)
- Adventurers (fifth and sixth graders)
